Now, we are looking for a new team member who is eager to make a real difference. As our Senior Legal Councel, you will be TYTAN's first in-house legal counsel and a strategic advisor to the leadership team. You will build TYTAN's legal function from the ground up-balancing risk, compliance, and innovation as we scale across jurisdictions and operational complexity. Your work will directly influence how TYTAN navigates defense regulation, international expansion, contract strategy, and dual-use technologies.
Your roadmap to make an impact
- Establish and lead TYTAN's legal department, acting as the key advisor on corporate, regulatory, and commercial legal matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (e.g., with suppliers, partners, customers, and governments), ensuring TYTAN's interests are protected.
- Ensure compliance with relevant national and international laws, including dual-use export regulations, defense contracting requirements, and data protection.
- Support entity formation, IP strategy, employment law matters, and internal governance.
- Liaise with external counsel on specialized matters, especially around defense procurement, security clearances, and international operations.
- Develop scalable legal processes and documentation standards across departments.
- Serve as a trusted thought partner to the executive team on strategic risk and compliance.
Who you are
- Qualified lawyer (EU jurisdiction) with 4+ years of legal experience, including significant in-house or startup experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and corporate law; exposure to defense, export control, or dual-use regulations is a significant plus.
- Able to structure complex deals and regulatory frameworks into pragmatic, actionable guidance.
- Experienced in managing external legal providers and translating legal advice into business value.
- Highly organized, discreet, and proactive; you thrive in high-stakes environments with evolving priorities.
- Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage.
